Mustafa Center Launches Virginia High School MSA Council

The VHMC (Virginia High School MSA Council) is an initiative launched and sponsored by the Mustafa Center dedicated to helping high school students develop and maintain well-organized and highly effective MSAs or Islamic Clubs in their public and private high schools.

Essentially VHMC will serve as a resource center designed to address the growing need for management training programs in high school MSAs and Islamic Clubs as well as a coordinating umbrella organization to facilitate cooperation and foster unity among High School MSAs and Islamic Clubs. VHMC will strive to offer Muslim high school students with skills, tools, and resources they need to best serve their schools’ Muslim students as well reach out to non-Muslim students. MSAs or Islamic clubs will be partnered with Muslim student mentors who are completing their higher education in order to offer them valuable experience and insight.

The first ever VHMC General Body meeting will be held on May 30 at 5pm. All high school MSA officers, MSA members and Muslim high school students are invited to attend.

The event will include the following speakers and seminars:
